A former professional basketball player who lives in the St. Louis suburb of Chesterfield has pleaded guilty to committing pandemic loan fraud.
Lorenzo Gordon, 41, pleaded guilty to one felony count of theft of government money. He has been accused of fraudulently applying for and receiving Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program funds.
After playing basketball at Illinois State, Gordon played professionally in France, Germany, Turkey and Israel.
