The city of St. Louis has received a $250,000 green-energy planning grant.
In partnership with the Missouri Green Banc, the municipality intends to use the funds to support public-private partnership plans that would lower energy costs and expand clean-energy investments.
The funding was reportedly made possible through the Coalition for Green Capital and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability USA.
