STL real estate group apologizes to Black residents

The St. Louis Realtors Association issued a public apology to Black residents in the area.

The real estate group is taking responsibility for its role in practicing housing discrimination and implementing racist housing policies for decades, St. Louis Public Radio reports.

The association has created 22 initiatives to promote Black homeownership. In St. Louis, white people are nearly twice as likely as Black residents to own homes.
