STL orchestra cancels spring performances

The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra canceled its spring performances due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Symphony musicians have agreed to millions of dollars in pay cuts through amended contracts.

Officials said the temporary contract amendment is an attempt "to provide relief from longer-term financial effects of the COVID-19 pandemic."
