St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones on Monday signed off on $135 million in coronavirus pandemic aid.
She line-item vetoed some $33 million earmarked for economic development projects in four major corridors in north St. Louis. City officials warned using funds for that purpose put the money at risk for a clawback.
The St. Louis Board of Aldermen last week gave approval to the $168 million bill.
