St. Louis Mayor Cara Spencer on Thursday signed legislation that would give city employees a pay boost.
The legislation provides at least a 3% pay raise for most city workers.
“This is about recognizing the people who keep St. Louis city running on a daily basis, from the crews repairing our streets to the people who secure our jails,” Spencer said.
