Electronics maker Watlow, one of St. Louis' largest manufacturers, is being acquired by private investment firm Tinicum LP.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition is pending regulatory approvals.
Watlow makes thermal systems and related software, employing 401 people in the St. Louis area and around 2,200 across the globe.
