STL judge approves $5M Walmart sales tax settlement

A federal judge in St. Louis approved a settlement in a lawsuit that alleged Walmart did not refund sales taxes on returned items.

More than 230,000 claims were submitted by the deadline April 1 to split $5 million, minus attorneys' fees and other costs.

Walmart has denied wrongdoing in the case.
