St. Louis entrepreneur Abayomi Jamil “Yomi” Martin pleaded guilty to defrauding Baltimore Ravens cornerback Brandon Carr.
Martin admitted to falsely claiming to be a part-owner of apparel company Famous Nobodys. He defrauded Carr to the tune of $250,000 when the football player wired money as an investment.
Martin used the money for personal expenses.
