Meridian Medical Technologies, based in the St. Louis suburb of Maryland Heights, has won a federal contract worth up to $129 million.
The company will supply its DuoDote chemical-poisoning antidote pen for the Strategic National Stockpile, which is managed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response.
The autoinjector is used to treat poisoning by organophosphorus nerve agents and organophosphorus insecticides.
