St. Louis County on Thursday formally rescinded its mask mandate.
County officials said they do not expect an appeal to a ruling last month by a Missouri judge barring such COVID-19 health orders.
“I will continue to strongly recommend that St. Louis County residents and guests wear masks indoors in public spaces,” said Dr. Faisal Khan, acting public health director. “Masks save lives.”
