The St. Louis County Council voted 4-3 in favor of a new face mask mandate.
The order, which requires masks to be worn indoors in public places, comes amid a rise in coronavirus cases across the St. Louis region.
The county lifted its former mask order last month after a Cole County judge restricted local health departments from issuing COVID-19 restrictions.
