STL considers tax incentives for redevelopment of AT&T tower

The city of St. Louis is considering tax incentives for Advantes Group's $300 million plans to redevelop the vacant AT&T tower.

The St. Louis Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority is scheduled to meet today. Property tax abatements are on the table.

St. Louis-based Advantes Group plans to turn the AT&T building into The Beacon on Chestnut. Plans call for 306 apartments and 300 hotel rooms, as well as office and retail space.
