St. Louis-based Second Sight Systems is planning to open a second headquarters in the Baltimore area.
The company, which installs utility meters for electric, gas and water companies, intends to hire 50 new employees in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
Second Sight Systems will focus in the area on a multiyear contract awarded by Itron, a smart meter tech company, through Baltimore Gas and Electric Co.
