The St. Louis collector’s office has filed suit against a Massachusetts company that it hired to deliver new software.
The lawsuit alleges Revenue Solutions Inc., also known as RSI, defrauded the city of more than $10 million by never delivering the software. The collector's office is reportedly seeking a refund.
“The collector has always been mindful of the value of taxpayer dollars and is committed to innovation and providing a streamlined tax processing system for the people of the city of St. Louis,” the lawsuit reads. “RSI conned and defrauded the city after completely failing to provide an operable, modernized tax revenue program as promised.”
