Teachers in five Catholic high schools reached a new three-year contract with the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
The agreement, which averts a strike, includes "long overdue pay scale improvements," protections for seniority and grievance procedures, according to the St. Louis Archdiocesan Teachers Association.
Negotiations started in October for the union's 120 teachers in the St. Louis area.
