STL Board of Aldermen president resigns

St. Louis Board of Aldermen President Lewis Reed resigned on Tuesday.

He was indicted last week with then-Alderman Jeffrey Boyd and former Alderman John Collins-Muhammad on federal bribery charges.

Reed and the other former aldermen are accused of allegedly accepting bribes in exchange for their support of tax abatements.
