Striking St. Louis-area machinists on Sunday narrowed rejected the latest contract proposal from Boeing.
The latest offer included a 1.5% general wage increase and 2.5% lump sum in the fourth year for top-paid employees.
Boeing said in a statement that the company is "turning our focus to executing the next phase of our contingency plan in support of our customers.”
