A federal grand jury has indicted two founders of St. Louis-based The Bailey Foundation.
Diarra Williams, 30, and husband Nicholas Warford, 31, were indicted for allegedly defrauding Missouri’s At-Risk Afterschool Program and Summer Food Service Program.
Williams, the nonprofit's executive director, and Warford allegedly stole more than $7 million intended to feed low-income children and used the money on personal expenses such as a house and cars.
