The St. Louis Board of Aldermen approved a bill to issue $37 million in federal pandemic aid toward the revival of businesses.
Businesses and nonprofits on the north side of St. Louis may apply for the funds to fuel expansion and community services.
"Our residents deserve the safety, stability and access to opportunities these funds will provide," said board President Lewis Reed, the bill's sponsor.
