STL airport secures flight to mainland Europe

St. Louis Lambert International Airport has gained its first new nonstop flight to continental Europe in two decades.

Starting in June next year, Lufthansa Airlines will operate three flights a week to Frankfurt, Germany.

The deal comes with locally financed incentives, such as the handling of landing fees for 18 months.
