Stifel to sell legacy Sterne Agee businesses

Stifel Financial Corp. agreed to sell several of Sterne Agee’s legacy businesses to financial services firm INTL FCStone Inc.

The announcement comes roughly a year after Stifel acquired the brokerage company.

The deal is expected to close in July. Financial terms were undisclosed.
