Stifel Financial Corp. and Lord Abbett & Co. are partnering on a new private credit initiative.
A joint venture called SBLA Private Credit combines Stifel’s direct lending platform with Lord Abbett’s capital base.
Company officials said SBLA Private Credit would focus on leveraged lending for small and mid-sized companies backed by private equity firms.
