Steinway piano dealer plans to close store

The store has been open for four years.

Schoonmaker will hold an invitation-only liquidation sale today and Saturday to benefit the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. Beginning Sunday, Schoonmaker will open his liquidation sale to the general public.

Schoonmaker said no one had purchased his business, which is Springfield’s only Steinway dealership. He wouldn’t disclose his inventory level or closing date.[[In-content Ad]]
