State seeks to discipline Ozark insurance agent

Posted online
The Missouri Department of Insurance has filed a complaint against an Ozark insurance provider for allegedly violating state insurance laws.

The complaint seeks the authorization to possibly suspend or revoke the license of Michael F. Ray, who admitted in 2004 to signing the name of another person to an Employer’s Disability Statement, according to MDI. The statement was later used in an insurance transaction for Ozark R-VI School District.

The Missouri Administrative Hearing Commission will decide at an undertermined time whether the department has grounds to discipline Ray’s license and to what degree.[[In-content Ad]]
