The Missouri Department of Economic Development selected Mardy Leathers as the new executive director of its Division of Workforce Development.
In that capacity, Leathers will in charge of a division that provides businesses and job seekers services to help attract workers. It also works with strategic partners to grow the skills of Missouri's workforce.
Leathers most recently worked as executive director of the Center for Workforce Development at East Central College in Union, Missouri.
