State gives Saint Louis Public Schools full accreditation

The Missouri Board of Education voted Tuesday to award full accreditation to Saint Louis Public Schools.

In 2007, SLPS had its accreditation stripped by the board for such programs as school finances, governance and academic instruction.

The district in 2012 became provisionally accredited. A Transitional School District of St. Louis with an advisory board remains in place.
