State collects $557.8M in November general revenue

Missouri's net general revenue collections increased in November by 3.3 percent to $576.5 million from $557.8 million in the same month last year, according to a news release from State Budget Director Linda Luebbering.

The fiscal year-to-date net general revenue collections are $2.8 billion, a 3.5 percent increase compared to $2.71 billion collected in the same time period in fiscal 2010.

November's gross collections by type:
  • Individual income tax collections increased 0.7 percent.
  • Sales and use tax collections increased 19.2 percent.
  • Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections decreased 11 percent.
  • All other collections increased 19.6 percent.
  • Refunds increased 32.6 percent.
