President Donald Trump announced plans for a joint venture called Stargate that comprises partners OpenAI, Oracle and SoftBank.
The venture would invest up to $500 billion in artificial intelligence.
“It’s big money and high-quality people," Trump said, noting the investment represents “a resounding declaration of confidence in America’s potential."
