Starbucks is looking to speed up its drive-thrus amid an increase in traffic brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
The company is planning to expand an initiative where employees walk drive-thru lines with handheld point-of-sale devices to take orders in advance.
Additionally, some new Starbucks stores could be built as drive-thru-only locations.
