Starbucks workers have filed suit over the company's new dress code.
The employees, who are backed by the union organizing Starbucks’ workers, allege they were not reimbursed when they had to buy new clothes under a company dress code change announced this spring.
Class-action lawsuits have been filed in Illinois and Colorado. Workers also filed complaints with California’s Labor and Workforce Development Agency and noted a class-action lawsuit could be possible in that state, as well.
