Despite increases in revenue and net income, Starbucks shares fell in aftermarket trading Thursday after the company released its quarterly report.
Net income in the company's fiscal second quarter rose to $660.1 million from $562.8 million a year earlier.
Revenue was up by 14 percent to $6.03 billion, better than the $5.9 billion analysts forecasted.
