Starbucks is reversing its open-door policy at North American stores.
Those who want to hang out or use the bathroom at Starbucks now are required to buy something. The open-door policy went into effect in 2018.
Starbucks' new code of conduct also bans discrimination or harassment, consumption of outside alcohol, smoking, vaping, drug use and panhandling.
