Starbucks plans three new kinds of stores

Whether you want to steep yourself in all things coffee or just want to grab your joe on the go, Starbucks is brewing up plans to draw you in.
 
Later this year, the ubiquitous coffee seller will open a roastery and tasting room concept in Seattle, which will focus on educating coffee connoisseurs on its process of roasting and brewing its small-lot reserve beans, according to Bloomberg Businessweek. The coffee retailer also plans to open 100 cafes to sell the specialty blends in the next five years.
 
And at the other end of the coffee-drinking spectrum, Starbucks is building more small-footprint, stand-alone stores to cater to the 40 percent of customers who routinely hit Starbucks drive-throughs.
