Starbucks' plain red holiday cups stir up controversy

This year's holiday season red cups at Starbucks have stirred up critics who accuse the company of waging a war on Christmas.

Rather than use its "symbols of the season" that included reindeer and ornaments, the company this year has gone with a simple, two-toned red cup.

Joshua Feuerstein, a former pastor who calls himself a "social media personality," took exception. A video he posted Nov. 5, which criticizes Starbucks for removing "Christmas from their cups because they hate Jesus," went viral.
