Starbucks partners with Alibaba in China

Starbucks entered a partnership with Alibaba Group to boost sales in China.

Through the deal, Starbucks will utilize Alibaba's delivery platform Ele.me and supermarket chain Hema, among other services, to expand delivery in the country.

"We're going to integrate a Starbucks virtual store into all of the Alibaba Group properties," Starbucks President and CEO Kevin Johnson said.
