Officials with Stanford University said the school would be returning gifts received from bankrupt crypto exchange FTX.
The announcement came after a lawsuit against former FTX leader Sam Bankman-Fried’s parents alleged the school received millions of dollars in donations.
Bankman-Fried’s parents, who are both tenured Stanford law professors, are being sued by FTX for allegedly using company funds to "enrich themselves."
