The U.S. Postal Service is raising the cost of its Forever stamp to 55 cents, a 5-cent increase.
At a 10 percent increase, the hike is the largest nominal price adjustment ever imposed by the USPS.
The agency received approval for the increase in November. It takes effect on Sunday.
