St. Louisan grabs investment on ABC's 'Shark Tank'

Things looked grim for St. Louisan Jenn Deese and her business partner Kelley Coughlan as investment sharks circled their pitch. But in the end, the pair — co-founders of pursecase , the clutch purse that doubles as a smartphone case — won investment dollars on ABC's reality show said to mimic venture-capital pitches.

The business partners appeared on Friday's episode of “Shark Tank." They receive a $55,000 investment for 15 percent equity from Lori Greiner of QVC, who said she could sell the purses on the shopping network, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.
