It’s not quite Austin or Seattle, but St. Louis is on a shortlist of cities that are quickly turning into a development hub for aspiring game makers, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.
In 2013, St. Louis game developers have raised nearly $275,000 through crowdfunding website Kickstarter.
Jonathan Leek, chairman of the International Game Developers Association’s St. Louis Chapter, said as st. Louis has transformed into an information technology hub, game developing has followed suit.
