St. Louis Rams owner plans to build NFL stadium in L.A.

The owner of the St. Louis Rams plans to build an 80,000-seat NFL stadium in Inglewood, California, the most powerful signal yet of his intention to move the team.

Stan Kroenke, who purchased 60 acres in the city a year ago, joined forces with the owners of the 238-acre Hollywood Park site, Stockbridge Capital Group, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Plans call for an 80,000-seat stadium and 6,000-seat performance venue.
