Davenport-Iowa-based Lee Enterprises, parent company of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reported third-quarter profits of $2.1 million, compared to a loss of $9.5 million in the same quarter last year.
Total advertising and marketing services revenue was $100.4 million, down 8 percent, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.
Subscription revenue increased by 9.4 percent to $47.4 million.
