St. Louis' new cybersecurity adviser is Microsoft

St. Louis is among a handful of cities across the globe getting cybersecurity advice from Microsoft.

According to Wired, Microsoft is offering advice free of charge to select city governments through 100 Resilient Cities, a nonprofit organization funded by the Rockefeller Foundation.

“We’ll lead workshops for multiple cities over a period of time to share what we’ve learned from operating some (of) the world’s largest data centers,” said Rob Bernard, Microsoft’s chief environmental and cities strategist.
