St. Louis named fastest growing city for tech startup funding

St. Louis was named the fastest growing city in the world when it came to total funding for tech startups, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.

According to New York-based CB Insights, a company that analyzes venture capital, St. Louis' dollars to tech financing between November 2013 and October 2014 grew 1,221 percent when compared to the same time a year earlier.

According to the St. Louis Business Journal, more than $380 million was invested in St. Louis startups in 2013.
