St. Louis entrepreneurs to add jobs in 2014

Roughly two out of three St. Louis-area entrepreneurs plan to hire additional full-time employees in the first half of 2014, according to a survey cited in the St. Louis Business Journal.

The survey found that half of the entrepreneurs also expect to hire part-time workers and 82 percent of participants reported the first half of next year would be a positive time to start a new business.

The survey featured 121 St. Louis-area firms with at least $1 million in annual revenue with the average respondent pulling in $3 million in annual revenue.
