The Hollywood and River City casinos in St. Louis County announced they would lay off a combined 775 employees.
St. Louis County yesterday allowed casinos to reopen as coronavirus rules are relaxed.
The Hollywood and River City casinos are owned by Gaming and Leisure Properties Inc. (Nasdaq: GLPI) and operated by Penn National Gaming of Pennsylvania (Nasdaq: PENN).
