The St. Louis City SC men's soccer club has fired coach Bradley Carnell.
Although Carnell led the team to a first-place finish in the Western Conference last season, this season the team may not make the playoffs amid a nine-match winless streak.
John Hackworth, the team's technical director, will take over as coach on an interim basis.
