Roughly 300 guests turned out Oct. 18 to celebrate the grand opening of St. John's Health System's new Rolla clinic.
The clinic is the health system's first facility specifically designed to support the physician component of the Electronic Health Record program, according to a St. John's news release.
The 107,000-square-foot clinic combines multiple services - previously located in three separate facilities - into a single location. Those services include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, hematology, oncology, neurology, orthopedics, sports medicine, spine center, podiatry, radiology, internal medicine, pediatrics and family medicine, the release said.
Plans call for ophthalmology, optometry and pulmonary medicine specialists to be added to the staff soon, and an optical shop is slated to open in January.
Other new services coming on line with the new clinic include physical and occupational therapy, a sleep disorders laboratory and an ambulatory surgery center.
St. John's Clinic-Rolla, 1605 Martin Spring Drive, also has expanded digital imaging services, including fully digital mammography.
