Sheila Dullum, social worker at St. John's Health System, has been named Missouri Outstanding Social Worker of the Year - Private Sector for her work with patients and their families.
Dullum assists patients in the pediatrics, labor and delivery, and mother's units and emergency room to cope with the stresses of hospitalization and the surrounding issues.
Nominees for the award were solicited from those who attended the Missouri Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect Oct. 7-9 in Columbia, Mo.
