St. Charles plans to sue Ameren Missouri

The city of St. Charles is expected to file suit against Ameren Missouri.

City officials announced they had retained law firms Dowd Bennett LLP and Blitz, Bardgett & Deutsch LC.

St. Charles officials pointed to an Environmental Protection Agency report that found an Ameren substation as the source of contamination of the city's drinking water.
